Internet Safety Day 5 February
As you may know your local NHW precincts we will be running a Cyber Crime workshop around May 2013. Details to follow.
However NHW Queensland are promoting Safer Internet Day 2013 which will be held on 5 February. We will draw on their experience as we develop our workshop.
Safer Internet Day is organised by Insafe and aims to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially among children and young people.
As this will be the10th Internet Safety Day it is hoped to make it bigger and better than ever before. This year’s theme is Online rights and responsibilities and the slogan is “Connect with respect”.
The Safer Internet Day website has a range of useful resources including a downloadable brochure which you could print off and deliver to your members.
