 PICNIC IN KERALGERIE PARK, Richmond Rd, Morningside

Sunday 28th April, 2013 from 2:30pm


Our signature event, and with the assistance of local Councillor Shayne Sutton through the Suburban Initiative Fund from Brisbane City Council  is the Picnic in Keralgerie Park, on the afternoon of Sunday 3rd March 2013. Put this one in your diary as this will be a big event and important community fund raiser. There will also be some important announcements re the upgrade of Keralgerie Park.

All money raised on the day will be donated to Cannon Hill Family Support Centre. This grass roots organization does a great job in providing emergency relief services (including flood relief) to families and individuals who are experiencing a crisis and having difficulty paying for essential services. They operate from Cannon Hill and cover 15 suburbs in our area.

·                       Prizes to WIN, including 4 burner BBQ, $1000 landscaping, gift vouchers

There will be several $1 raffles with significant and interesting prizes provided by our supporters like Adbri Masonry, Bunnings Cannon Hill, Molloy Road Friendly Grocer, Blue Poppy Café, Mama Ferrari’s Pizza Bar, Direct Hire Tingalpa, Furrykids@Home, Woolworths Morningside and Morningside Veterinary Clinic.
We  have donations towards our fundraising from Cr Shayne Sutton, Aaron Dillaway MP, Kevin Rudd MP.

We will also have support from the Rotary Club of Balmoral who will be manning the BBQ and are an active community group well known in our neighbourhood.
